They were noticed by Guha’s spies from Śṛṅgiberapura in these places. After crossing the Gaṅgā, Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā-devī spent the night under a tree. They spent the next night in Bharadvāja’s āśrama. The third night was spent on the bank of the Yamunā. On the fourth day they proceeded to Citrakūṭa.
