Chapter 59: Sumantra Describes the Agony of all Creatures in the Country
Text 2.59.2

तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सुमन्त्रो बाष्पविक्लवः।
कथयामास भूयोऽपि रामसंदेशविस्तरम्॥

tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā sumantro bāṣpa-viklavaḥ
kathayām āsa bhūyo ’pi rāma-sandeśa-vistaram

tasya = of the king; tat = those; vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; sumantraḥ = Sumantra; bāṣpa-viklavaḥ = became overcome by tears; kathayām āsa = related; bhūyaḥ api = and again; rāma-sandeśa-vistaram = in detail Rāma’s message.

Upon hearing those words of the king, Sumantra became overcome by tears and again related in detail Rāma’s message.
