Chapter 59: Sumantra Describes the Agony of all Creatures in the Country

यद्यद्यापि ममैवाज्ञा निवर्तय तु राघवम्।
न शक्ष्यामि विना रामं मुहूर्तमपि जीवितुम्॥
yady adyāpi mamaivājñā nivartaya tu rāghavam
na śakṣyāmi vinā rāmaṁ muhūrtam api jīvitum
yadi = if; adya api = even in this crisis; mama eva = my; ājñā = order [is honored by you]; nivartaya tu = just stop; rāghavam = Rāghava [from proceeding further]; na śakṣyāmi = I cannot; vinā = without; rāmam = Rāma; muhūrtam api = for even a moment; jīvitum = live.
Even in this crisis, if my order [is honored by you], just stop Rāghava [from proceeding further]. I cannot live without Rāma for even a moment!
