Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 61: Kausalyā Condemns Daśaratha in Extreme Distress
Text 2.61.27

तत्र त्वं चैव मे नास्ति रामश्च वनमाश्रितः।
न वनं गन्तुमिच्छामि सर्वथा निहता त्वया॥

tatra tvaṁ caiva me nāsti rāmaś ca vanam āśritaḥ
na vanaṁ gantum icchāmi sarvathā nihatā tvayā

tatra = among these shelters; tvam ca eva = you; me = my shelter; na = not; asti = are; rāmaḥ ca = nor do I have Rāma as my protector; vanam = to the forest; āśritaḥ = for He has gone; na = don’t; vanam = to the forest; gantum = to go; icchāmi = I want; sarvathā = in every way; nihatā = have destroyed me; tvayā = [oh,] you.

Among these shelters, you are not my protector. Nor do I have Rāma as my protector for He has gone to the forest. I don’t want to go to the forest. [Oh,] you have destroyed me in every way!

Kausalyā considered that Daśaratha was not her protector for he had become dependent on her co-wife [Kaikeyī]. She also implies here that she does not have any relatives to take care of her since they are far away. She did not want to go to the forest because her husband is alive.
