Chapter 64: Daśaratha Gives up his Life in Remembrance of Lord Rāma

उभावपि च शोकार्तावनाथौ कृपणौ वने।
क्षिप्रमेव गमिष्यावस्त्वयाहीनौ यमक्षयम्॥
ubhāv api ca śokārtāv anāthau kṛpaṇau vane
kṣipram eva gamiṣyāvas tvayāhīnau yama-kṣayam
ubhau api ca = both of us; śoka-ārtau = are overcome by sorrow; anāthau = with no one to take care of us; kṛpaṇau = we are miserable; vane = in this forest; kṣipram eva = quickly; gamiṣyāvaḥ = we will go; tvayā ahīnau = with you; yama-kṣayam = to the abode of Yamarāja.
Both of us are overcome by sorrow. We are miserable, with no one to take care of us in this forest. We will quickly go with you to the abode of Yamarāja.
