Chapter 64: Daśaratha Gives up his Life in Remembrance of Lord Rāma

एवमुक्त्वा तु दिव्येन विमानेन वपुष्मता।
आरुरोह दिवं क्षिप्रं मुनिपुत्रो जितेन्द्रियः॥
evam uktvā tu divyena vimānena vapuṣmatā
āruroha divaṁ kṣipraṁ muni-putro jitendriyaḥ
evam = this; uktvā tu = having said; divyena = on a divine; vimānena = airplane; vapuṣmatā = of celebrated appearance; āruroha = ascended; divam = to the heavens; kṣipram = quickly; muni-putraḥ = son of sage; jita-indriyaḥ = the sense-controlled.
Having said this, the sense-controlled son of sage quickly ascended to the heavens on a divine airplane of celebrated appearance.
