स्वर्गतश्च महाराजो रामश्चारण्यमाश्रितः।
लक्ष्मणश्चापि तेजस्वी रामेणैव गतः सह॥
svar-gataś ca mahā-rājo rāmaś cāraṇyam āśritaḥ
lakṣmaṇaś cāpi tejasvī rāmeṇaiva gataḥ saha
svaḥ-gataḥ ca = has attained the heavens; mahā-rājaḥ = Mahārāja Daśaratha; rāmaḥ ca = Rāma; araṇyam = to the forest; āśritaḥ = has gone; lakṣmaṇaḥ = Lakṣmaṇa; ca api = and; tejasvī = the powerful; rāmeṇa eva = Rāma; gataḥ = has gone; saha = with.
Mahārāja Daśaratha has attained the heavens. Rāma has gone to the forest and the powerful Lakṣmaṇa has gone with Rāma.
