Chapter 68: Vasiṣṭha’s Messengers go to Bring Bharata
Text 2.68.4
गच्छन्त्विति ततः सर्वे वसिष्ठं वाक्यमब्रुवन्।
तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वसिष्ठो वाक्यमब्रवीत्॥
gacchantv iti tataḥ sarve vasiṣṭhaṁ vākyam abruvan
teṣāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā vasiṣṭho vākyam abravīt
gacchantu iti = yes, they should go [immediately]; tataḥ = then; sarve = all the ministers; vasiṣṭham = Vasiṣṭha; vākyam abruvan = told; teṣām = their; tat vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; vasiṣṭhaḥ = Vasiṣṭha; vākyam = as follows; abravīt = spoke.
All the ministers then told Vasiṣṭḥa, “Yes. They should go [immediately].” Upon hearing their words, Vasiṣṭḥa spoke as follows.
