औपवाह्यस्य नागस्य विषाणं शकलीकृतम्।
सहसा चापि संशुष्कां ज्वलितां जातवेदसा॥
अवतीर्णां च पृथिवीं शुष्कांश्च विविधान्द्रुमान्।
अहं पश्यामि विध्वस्तान्सधुमांश्चापि पर्वतान्॥
aupavāhyasya nāgasya viṣāṇaṁ śakalī-kṛtam
sahasā cāpi saṁśuṣkāṁ jvalitāṁ jāta-vedasā
avatīrṇāṁ ca pṛthivīṁ śuṣkāṁś ca vividhān drumān
ahaṁ paśyāmi vidhvastān sadhūmāṁś cāpi parvatān
aupavāhyasya = of a royal 1; nāgasya = elephant; viṣāṇam = the horn; śakalī-kṛtam = shatter into pieces; sahasā = suddenly; ca api = and; saṁśuṣkām = fully dry up; jvalitām jāta-vedasā = get burnt in fire; avatīrṇām ca = fall down; pṛthivīm = the earth; śuṣkān ca = dried up; vividhān = several; drumān = trees; aham = I; paśyāmi = saw; vidhvastān = get destroyed; sadhūmān = while emitting smoke; ca api = and; parvatān = mountains.
“I saw the horn of a royal elephant suddenly shatter into pieces, the earth fall down, get burnt in fire and fully dry up, several dried trees and mountains get destroyed while emitting smoke.
