Chapter 70: Bharata Departs from Rājagṛha
Text 2.70.3
पुरोहितस्त्वां कुशलं प्राह सर्वे च मन्त्रिणः।
त्वरमाणश्च निर्याहि कृत्यमात्ययिकं त्वया॥
purohitas tvāṁ kuśalaṁ prāha sarve ca mantriṇaḥ
tvaramāṇaś ca niryāhi kṛtyam ātyayikaṁ tvayā
purohitaḥ = the royal priest; tvām kuśalam = his regards to You; prāha = has conveyed; sarve = all; ca = and so have; mantriṇaḥ = the ministers; tvaramāṇaḥ ca = quickly; niryāhi = come [with us]; kṛtyam = have to perform; ātyayikam = a difficult task 1; tvayā = You.
The royal priest has conveyed his regards to You and so have all the ministers. Quickly come [with us]. You have to perform a difficult task.1
1 “You have to perform a difficult task” means “You have to solve a problem.”
