Chapter 70: Bharata Departs from Rājagṛha
Text 2.70.18
पुरोहितं च कुशलं ये चान्ये द्विजसत्तमाः।
तौ च तात महेष्वासौ भ्रातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ॥
purohitaṁ ca kuśalaṁ ye cānye dvija-sattamāḥ
tau ca tāta maheṣvāsau bhrātarau rāma-lakṣmaṇau
purohitam ca = to the priest; kuśalam = [please convey] my regards; ye ca anye = other; dvija-sattamāḥ = excellent brāhmaṇas; tau = the two; ca = and; tāta = my child; mahā-iṣu-āsau = great archers; bhrātarau = Your brothers; rāma-lakṣmaṇau = Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
My child, [please convey] my regards to the priest, other excellent brāhmaṇas and the two great archers, Your brothers, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
