Chapter 70: Bharata Departs from Rājagṛha
Text 2.70.20

रुक्मनिष्कसहस्रे द्वे षोडशाश्वशतानि च।
सत्कृत्य कैकयीपुत्रं केकयो धनमादिशत्॥

rukma-niṣka-sahasre dve ṣoḍaśāśva-śatāni ca
satkṛtya kaikayī-putraṁ kekayo dhanam ādiśat

rukma-niṣka-sahasre dve = 2,000 niṣkas; ṣoḍaśa-aśva-śatāni = 1,600 horses; ca = and; satkṛtya = honored and; kaikayī-putram = Kaikeyī’s son; kekayaḥ = the King of Kekaya; dhanam = the above-mentioned wealth; ādiśat = gave Him.

The King of Kekaya honored Kaikeyī’s son and gave Him 2,000 niṣkas, 1,600 horses and the above-mentioned wealth.

A niṣka is an ornament to be worn on the chest 2.

The King of Kekaya ordered his servants to bring [all of the above-mentioned gifts and give them to Bharata].
