Chapter 70: Bharata Departs from Rājagṛha
Text 2.70.28
स मातामहमापृच्छ्य मातुलं च युधाजितम्।
रथमारुह्य भरतः शत्रुघ्नसहितो ययौ॥
sa mātāmaham āpṛcchaya mātulaṁ ca yudhājitam
ratham āruhya bharataḥ śatrughna-sahito yayau
saḥ1 mātāmaham = of His maternal grandfather; āpṛcchaya = then took leave; mātulam = uncle; ca = and; yudhājitam = Yudhājit; ratham = on His chariot; āruhya = and then got; bharataḥ = Bharata; śatrughna-sahitaḥ = with Śatrughna; yayau = and departed.
Bharata then took leave of His maternal grandfather and uncle Yudhājit and then got on His chariot with Śatrughna and departed.
