Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 71: Bharata Reaches Ayodhyā
Text 2.71.8

राजपुत्रो महारण्यमनभीक्ष्णोपसेवितम्।
भद्रो भद्रेण यानेन मारुतः खमिवात्ययात्॥

rāja-putro mahāraṇyam anabhīkṣṇopasevitam
bhadro bhadreṇa yānena mārutaḥ kham ivātyayāt

rāja-putraḥ = prince; mahā-araṇyam = to a dense forest; anabhīkṣṇa-upasevitam = not much frequented by men; bhadraḥ = the auspicious; bhadreṇa = on a Bhadra; yānena = elephant; mārutaḥ = the wind travels; kham = in the sky; iva = like; atyayāt = went.

The auspicious prince went on a Bhadra elephant to a dense forest not much frequented by men like the wind travels in the sky.

As a prince, Bharata was auspicious in His behavior. Bhadra elephants are expert in traveling through the forest. Bharata quickly traveled through the dense forest on a Bhadra elephant just as the wind quickly travels in the sky. The wind travels on earth slowly because of mountains and so on.
