drākṣīd rājyastham āsīnam yasyāryo ’numate gataḥ
mā ca = never ever; tam = Rāma; vyūḍha-bāhu-aṁsam = with His fleshy arms and shoulders; candra-arka-sama-tejasam = and with a prowess that equals that of the moon and the sun; drākṣīt = see; rājyastham = on His royal throne after receiving the kingdom; āsīnam = sitting; yasya = [may he] whose; āryaḥ = noble Rāma; anumate = with consent; gataḥ = has departed [to the forest].
[May he] with whose consent the noble Rāma has departed [to the forest] never ever see Rāma sitting on His royal throne after receiving the kingdom, with His fleshy arms and shoulders, and with a prowess that equals that of the moon and the sun.
A person who consents to Rāma’s departure should become devoid of the good fortune required to see Rāma as described here.
