Chapter 78: Śatrughna Punishes Mantharā
Text 2.78.7

मेखलादामभिश्चित्रैरन्यैश्च शुभभूषणैः।
बभासे बहुभिर्बद्धा रज्जुबद्धेव वानरी॥

mekhalā-dāmabhiś citrair anyaiś ca śubha-bhūṣaṇaiḥ
babhāse bahubhir baddhā rajju-baddheva vānarī

mekhalā-dāmabhiḥ = girdles; citraiḥ = colorful; anyaiḥ = other; ca = as well as; śubha-bhūṣaṇaiḥ = attractive ornaments; babhāse = looking; bahubhiḥ = many; baddhā = she had tied upon herself; rajju-baddhā = tied up with a rope; iva = just like; vānarī = a female monkey.

She had tied upon herself colorful girdles as well as many other attractive ornaments, looking just like a female monkey tied up with a rope.

Baddhā indicates that she had used these ornaments not just for show.
