Chapter 85: Bharata Reveals His Intentions to Guha
Text 2.85.11
स तु संहृष्टवदनः श्रुत्वा भरतभाषितम्।
पुनरेवाब्रवीद्वाक्यं भरतं प्रति हर्षितः॥
sa tu saṁhṛṣṭa-vadanaḥ śrutvā bharata-bhāṣitam
punar evābravīd vākyaṁ bharataṁ prati harṣitaḥ
saḥ tu = he; saṁhṛṣṭa-vadanaḥ = Guha’s face became pleasant; śrutvā = upon hearing; bharata-bhāṣitam = Bharata’s words; punaḥ eva = again; abravīt = spoke; vākyam = the following words; bharatam prati = to Bharta; harṣitaḥ = with joy.
Upon hearing Bharata’s words, Guha’s face became pleasant. With joy he again spoke the following words to Bharata.
