रम्यचत्वरसंस्थानां सुविभक्तमहापथाम्।
हर्म्यप्रासादसंपन्नां सर्वरत्नविभूषिताम्॥
गजाश्वरथसंबाधां तूर्यनादविनादिताम्।
सर्वकल्याणसंपूर्णां हृष्टपुष्टजनाकुलाम्॥
आरामोद्यानसंपूर्णां समाजोत्सवशालिनीम्।
सुखिता विचरिष्यन्ति राजधानीं पितुर्मम॥
ramya-catvara-saṁsthānāṁ suvibhakta-mahā-pathām
harmya-prāsāda-sampannāṁ sarva-ratna-vibhūṣitām
gajāśva-ratha-sambādhāṁ tūrya-nāda-vināditām
sarva-kalyāṇa-sampūrṇāṁ hṛṣṭa-puṣṭa-janākulām
ārāmodyāna-sampūrṇāṁ samājotsavaśālinīm
sukhitā vicariṣyanti rājadhānīṁ pitur mama
ramya-catvara-saṁsthānām = it has pleasant crossroads; suvibhakta-mahā-pathām = and very neatly partitioned grand roads; harmya-prāsāda-sampannām = it is enriched with mansions, temples and palaces; sarva-ratna-vibhūṣitām = it is decorated with all kinds of first-class items; gaja-aśva-ratha-sambādhām = it is crowded with elephants, horses and chariots; tūrya-nāda-vināditām = it resounds with the sounds of musical instruments; sarva-kalyāṇa-sampūrṇām = it is filled with all kinds of auspiciousness; hṛṣṭa-puṣṭa-jana-ākulām = and full of happy and healthy people; ārāma-udyāna-sampūrṇām = filled with gardens and royal orchards; samāja-utsavaśālinīm = it is distinguished for its social festivities; sukhitāḥ = happy are those; vicariṣyanti = who will wander about; rājadhānīm = capital; pituḥ = father’s; mama = My.
Happy are those who will wander about My father’s capital. It has pleasant crossroads and very neatly partitioned grand roads. It is enriched with mansions, temples and palaces. It is decorated with all kinds of first-class items. It is crowded with elephants, horses and chariots. It resounds with the sounds of musical instruments. It is filled with all kinds of auspiciousness and full of happy and healthy people. Filled with gardens and royal orchards, it is distinguished for its social festivities.
