Chapter 91: Bharadvāja’s Hospitality to Bharata, His Army and Family

उत्तरेभ्यः कुरुभ्यश्च वनं दिव्योपभोगवत्।
आजगाम नदी दिव्या तीरजैर्बहुभिर्वृता॥३१॥
uttarebhyaḥ kurubhyaś ca vanaṁ divyopabhogavat
ājagāma nadī divyā tīrajair bahubhir vṛtā
uttarebhyaḥ = from North; kurubhyaḥ = Kuru-varṣa; ca = and; vanam = a forest; divya-upabhogavat = fit for celestial enjoyment; ājagāma = appeared; nadī = rivers; divyā = celestial; tīrajaiḥ = trees growing on their banks; bahubhiḥ = by many; vṛtā = surrounded.
From North Kuru-varṣa, a forest fit for celestial enjoyment and celestial rivers surrounded by many trees growing on their banks appeared.
This forest was the forest of Kuvera that the sage had called.
