Chapter 91: Bharadvāja’s Hospitality to Bharata, His Army and Family
Text 2.91.52

उच्छाद्य स्नापयन्ति स्म नदीतीरेषु वल्गुषु।
अप्येकमेकं पुरुषं प्रमदाः सप्त चाष्ट च॥

ucchādya snāpayanti sma nadī-tīreṣu valguṣu
apy ekam ekaṁ puruṣaṁ pramadāḥ sapta cāṣṭa ca

ucchādya = massaged and oiled 6; snāpayanti sma = and bathed them; nadī-tīreṣu = on the banks of the river; valguṣu api = beautiful; ekam ekam = each; puruṣam = man; pramadāḥ = enchanting ladies; sapta = seven; ca = or; aṣṭa ca = eight.

Seven or eight enchanting ladies massaged and oiled each man on the beautiful banks of the river and bathed them.

Ucchādya indicates that they massaged [each man] with oil and so on.
