नाशुक्लवासास्तत्रासीत्क्षुधितो मलिनोऽपि वा।
रजसा ध्वस्तकेशो वा नरः कश्चिददृश्यत।।
nāśukla-vāsās tatrāsīt kṣudhito malino ’pi vā
rajasā dhvasta-keśo vā naraḥ kaścid adṛśyata
na = no one; aśukla-vāsāḥ = not wearing white clothes; tatra = there; āsīt = was; kṣudhitaḥ = hungry; malinaḥ api = dirty; vā = or; rajasā dhvasta-keśaḥ = with dusty hair; vā naraḥ kaścit = no man; adṛśyata = there was to be seen.
There was no one there not wearing white clothes, hungry or dirty. There was no man to be seen with dusty hair.
