Chapter 92: Bharata Departs for Citrakūṭa
Text 2.92.7

आमन्त्रयेऽहं भगवन्कामं त्वामृषिसत्तम।
समीपं प्रस्थितं भ्रातुर्मैत्रेणेक्षस्व चक्षुषा॥

āmantraye ’haṁ bhagavan kāmaṁ tvām ṛṣi-sattama
samīpaṁ prasthitaṁ bhrātur maitreṇekṣasva cakṣuṣā

āmantraye = seek leave; aham = I; bhagavan = O powerful; kāmam = happily 4; tvām = your; ṛṣi-sattama = best of the sages; samīpam prasthitam = while I depart to meet; bhrātuḥ = My brother; maitreṇa = with favorable; īkṣasva = please glance upon Me; cakṣuṣā = eyes.

O powerful best of the sages, I seek your leave. Please glance upon Me with favorable eyes while I happily depart to meet My brother.
