Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 92: Bharata Departs for Citrakūṭa
Text 2.92.12

अनन्तरं तत्सरितश्चित्रकूटश्च पर्वतः।
तयोः पर्णकुटी तात तत्र तौ वसतो ध्रुवम्॥

anantaraṁ tat-saritaś citrakūṭaś ca parvataḥ
tayoḥ parṇa-kuṭī tāta tatra tau vasato dhruvam

anantaram = near; tat-saritaḥ = that river Mandākinī is; citrakūṭaḥ ca = Citrakūṭa; parvataḥ = is the mountain; tayoḥ = in between the river and the mountain is; parṇa-kuṭī = a leaf hut that has been constructed [for Sītā and Rāma, which is]; tāta = dear child; tatra  = where; tau vasataḥ = they are living; dhruvam = I know for sure that.

Dear child, near that river Mandākinī is the Citrakūṭa mountain. I know for sure that in between the river and the mountain is a leaf hut that has been constructed [for Sītā and Rāma, which is] where they are living.

Mandākinī was not immediately next to Citrakūṭa. By the power of his spiritual meditation, the sage Bharadvāja knew this for sure.
