Chapter 92: Bharata Departs for Citrakūṭa
Text 2.92.31
अभिवाद्य तु संसिद्धः कृत्वा चैनं प्रदक्षिणम्।
आमन्त्र्य भरतः सैन्यं युज्यतामित्यचोदयत्॥
abhivādya tu saṁsiddhaḥ kṛtvā cainaṁ pradakṣiṇam
āmantrya bharataḥ sainyaṁ yujyatām ity acodayat
abhivādya tu = offered His respectful obeisances; saṁsiddhaḥ = when He was blessed [by the sage]; kṛtvā ca enam pradakṣiṇam = and circumambulated the sage; āmantrya = He took leave [of him]; bharataḥ = Bharata; sainyam = His army; yujyatām iti = get ready; acodayat = and ordered.
Bharata offered His respectful obeisances and circumambulated the sage. When He was blessed [by the sage], He took leave [of him] and ordered His army, “Get ready!”
GLOSS. Saṁsiddhaḥ indicates that Bharata was ready [to depart when He was blessed by the sage].
