Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence
Text 2.93.7

यादृशं लक्ष्यते रूपं यथा चैव श्रुतं मया।
व्यक्तं प्राप्ताः स्म तं देशं भरद्वाजो यमब्रवीत्॥

yādṛśaṁ lakṣyate rūpaṁ yathā caiva śrutaṁ mayā
vyaktaṁ prāptāḥ sma taṁ deśaṁ bharadvājo yam abravīt

yādṛśam = it is similar to the appearance of; lakṣyate = I recognize; rūpam = the appearance of this place; yathā ca eva śrutam mayā = I heard; vyaktam = certainly; prāptāḥ sma = we have reached [that place]; tam = the; deśam = place; bharadvājaḥ = Bharadvāja; yam = that; abravīt = speak about.

I recognize the appearance of this place. It is similar to the appearance of the place that I heard Bharadvāja speak about. We have certainly reached [that place].

[They had reached a spot] between Mandākinī and Citrakūṭa.

In the next verse He reiterates what He stated in this verse.
