Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence
Text 2.93.17

एतान्वित्रासितान्पश्य बर्हिणः प्रियदर्शनान्।
एतमाविशतः शीघ्रमधिवासं पतत्रिणः॥

etān vitrāsitān paśya barhiṇaḥ priya-darśanān
etam āviśataḥ śīghram adhivāsaṁ patatriṇaḥ

etān = they are; vitrāsitān = frightened [and so]; paśya = look at; barhiṇaḥ = these peacocks; priya-darśanān = so pleasing in appearance; etam = to this; āviśataḥ = returning; śīghram = are quickly; adhivāsam = mountain; patatriṇaḥ = and nice birds.

Look at these peacocks and nice birds so pleasing in appearance. They are frightened [and so] are quickly returning to this mountain.

[The peacocks and birds] were frightened because of the chariots.
