Chapter 97: Rāma Instructs Lakṣmaṇa
Text 2.97.13
प्राप्तकालं यदेषोऽस्मान्भरतो द्रष्टुमिच्छति।
अस्मासु मनसाप्येष नाप्रियं किञ्चिदाचरेत्॥
prāpta-kālaṁ yad eṣo ’smān bharato draṣṭum icchati
asmāsu manasāpy eṣa nāpriyaṁ kiñcid ācaret
prāpta-kālam = it is the right time; yat = that; eṣaḥ = Our; asmān = us; bharataḥ = Bharata; draṣṭum icchati = wants to see; asmāsu = to us; manasā api = even in His mind; eṣaḥ = He; na = never; apriyam = displeasing; kiñcit ācaret = would do anything.
It is the right time that Our Bharata wants to see us. Even in His mind, He would never do anything displeasing to us.
