Chapter 98: Bharata Locates Rāma’s Āśrama
Text 2.98.9

यावन्न राज्ये राज्यार्हः पितृपैतामहे स्थितः।
अभिषेकजलक्लिन्नो न मे शान्तिर्भविष्यति॥

yāvan na rājye rājyārhaḥ pitṛ-paitāmahe sthitaḥ
abhiṣeka-jala-klinno na me śāntir bhaviṣyati

yāvat = as long as; na = not; rājye = [for ruling over] the kingdom; rājya-arhaḥ = He who is worthy of His kingdom; pitṛ-paitāmahe = in the kindom of His father and grandfather; sthitaḥ = does stand; abhiṣeka-jala-klinnaḥ = wet with the water of coronation; na = not; me = I; śāntiḥ = any peace; bhaviṣyati = will have.

As long as He who is worthy of His kingdom does not stand in the kingdom of His father and grandfather, wet with the water of coronation, I will not have any peace.

NOTE. As an ideal and devoted order-carrier of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Bharata teaches us that we cannot attain any peace until we fully surrender unto the lotus feet of the  Supreme Lord in all humility to obey Him.

Prabhupāda gives the following Vedic evidence of this principle in his purport to Bhagavad-gītā 2.12:

In the Vedas—in the Kaṭha Upaniṣad as well as in the Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad—it is said that the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the maintainer of innumerable living entities, in terms of their different situations according to individual work and reaction of work. That Supreme Personality of Godhead is also, by His plenary portions, alive in the heart of every living entity. Only saintly persons who can see, within and without, the same Supreme Lord can actually attain to perfect and eternal peace.

nityo nityānāṁ cetanaś cetanānām
eko bahūnāṁ yo vidadhāti kāmān
tam ātma-sthaṁ ye ’nupaśyanti dhīrās
teṣāṁ śāntiḥ śāśvatī netareṣām
