Chapter 102: Rāma Performs Śrāddha for King Daśaratha
Text 2.102.32
ततः पर्णकुटीद्वारमासाद्य जगतीपतिः।
परिजग्राह बाहुभ्यामुभौ भरतलक्ष्मणौ॥
tataḥ parṇa-kuṭī-dvāram āsādya jagatī-patiḥ
parijagrāha bāhubhyām ubhau bharata-lakṣmaṇau
tataḥ = and then; parṇa-kuṭī-dvāram = the gateway to His leaf cottage; āsādya = having reached; jagatī-patiḥ = the Lord of the world; parijagrāha = embraced; bāhubhyām = with His arms; ubhau = both; bharata-lakṣmaṇau = Bharata and Lakṣmaṇa.
And then, having reached the gateway to His leaf cottage, the Lord of the world embraced both Bharata and Lakṣmaṇa with His arms.
