Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 103: Rāma Meets His Mothers and Vasiṣṭha
Text 2.103.15

श्रुतिस्तु खल्वियं सत्या लौकिकी प्रतिभाति मा।
यदन्नः पुरुषो भवति तदन्नास्तस्य देवताः॥

śrutis tu khalv iyaṁ satyā laukikī pratibhāti mā
yad-annaḥ puruṣo bhavati tad-annās tasya devatāḥ

śrutiḥ tu = of the Śruti; khalu iyam = the statement; satyā = true; laukikī = that is well-known in the world; pratibhāti = appears; = to me; yat-annaḥ = the food; puruṣaḥ = for a man; bhavati = is; tat-annāḥ = the food; tasya devatāḥ = for the celestials.

The statement of the Śruti, “The food for a man is the food for  the celestials,” that is well known in the world appears true to me.
