Chapter 103: Rāma Meets His Mothers and Vasiṣṭha
Text 2.103.18
तासां रामः समुत्थाय जग्राह चरणाञ्शुभान्।
मातॄणां मनुजव्याघ्रः सर्वासां सत्यसङ्गरः॥
tāsāṁ rāmaḥ samutthāya jagrāha caraṇāñ śubhān
matṝṇāṁ manuja-vyāghraḥ sarvāsāṁ satya-saṅgaraḥ
tāsām1 rāmaḥ = Rāma; samutthāya = got up; jagrāha = and touched; caraṇān = feet; śubhān = the auspicious; matṝṇām = of His mothers; manuja-vyāghraḥ = prince; sarvāsām = all; satya-saṅgaraḥ = who was true to His promises.
Prince Rāma who was true to His promises got up and touched the auspicious feet of all His mothers.
