Chapter 103: Rāma Meets His Mothers and Vasiṣṭha
Text 2.103.24
विदेहराजस्य सुता स्नुषा दशरथस्य च।
रामपत्नी कथं दुःखं संप्राप्ता निर्जने वने॥
videha-rājasya sutā snuṣā daśarathasya ca
rāma-patnī kathaṁ duḥkhaṁ samprāptā nirjane vane
videha-rājasya = of Videha’s king; sutā = the daughter; snuṣā = the daughter-in-law; daśarathasya = of Daśaratha; ca = and; rāma-patnī = Rāma’s wife; katham = how did; duḥkham = sorrow; samprāptā = attain; nirjane = lonely; vane = in a forest.
