Chapter 104: Bharata Beseeches Rāma to Rule the Kingdom
Text 2.104.8
तस्य मे दासभूतस्य प्रसादं कर्तुमर्हसि।
अभिषिञ्चस्व चाद्यैव राज्येन मघवानिव॥
tasya me dāsa-bhūtasya prasādaṁ kartum arhasi
abhiṣiñcasva cādyaiva rājyena maghavān iva
tasya me = to Me; dāsa-bhūtasya = Your servant who has attained infamy because of My relationship with Kaikeyī; prasādam kartum arhasi = be merciful; abhiṣiñcasva ca = coronate Yourself [as the king]; adya eva = today; rājyena = for the sake of the kingdom; maghavān = Indra; iva = like.
Be merciful to Me, Your servant who has attained infamy because of My relationship with Kaikeyī. Like Indra, coronate Yourself [as the king] today for the sake of the kingdom.
