Chapter 104: Bharata Beseeches Rāma to Rule the Kingdom
Text 2.104.17
न दोषं त्वयि पश्यामि सूक्ष्ममप्यरिसूदन।
न चापि जननीं बाल्यात्त्वं विगर्हितुमर्हसि॥
na doṣaṁ tvayi paśyāmi sūkṣmam apy ari-sūdana
na cāpi jananīṁ bālyāt tvaṁ vigarhitum arhasi
na = do not; doṣam = defect; tvayi = in You; paśyāmi = I see; sūkṣmam = the slightest; api = even; ari-sūdana = O destroyer of enemies; na = not; ca api = and; jananīm = Our mother; bālyāt = immaturely; tvam = You; vigarhitum = blaspheme; arhasi = should.
O destroyer of enemies, I do not see even the slightest defect in You and You should not immaturely blaspheme Our mother.
“Immaturely” means “ignorantly.”
