Chapter 104: Bharata Beseeches Rāma to Rule the Kingdom

कामकारो महाप्राज्ञ गुरूणां सर्वदानघ।
उपपन्नेषु दारेषु पुत्रेषु च विधीयते॥
kāmakāro mahā-prājña gurūṇāṁ sarvadānagha
upapanneṣu dāreṣu putreṣu ca vidhīyate
kāmakāraḥ = freedom of behavior; mahā-prājña = O greatly intelligent; gurūṇām = for authorities; sarvadā = constant; anagha = and sinless one; upapanneṣu = disciples; dāreṣu = in relation to their wives; putreṣu = sons; ca = and so on; vidhīyate = has been ordained by the scriptures.
O greatly intelligent and sinless one, constant freedom of behavior has been ordained by the scriptures for authorities in relation to their wives, sons, disciples, servants and so on.
