Chapter 104: Bharata Beseeches Rāma to Rule the Kingdom
Text 2.104.25
स च प्रमाणं धर्मात्मा राजा लोकगुरुस्तव।
पित्रा दत्तं यथा भागमुपभोक्तुं त्वमर्हसि॥
sa ca pramāṇaṁ dharmātmā rājā loka-gurus tava
pitrā dattaṁ yathā bhāgam upabhoktuṁ tvam arhasi
saḥ = that; ca = and; pramāṇam = authority; dharma-ātmā = of a dhārmika mind; rājā = king; loka-guruḥ = is the guru of all the people; tava = Your; pitrā = by Our father; dattam = given; yathā = properly; bhāgam = the share; upabhoktum = enjoy; tvam = You; arhasi = should.
That king of a dhārmika mind is the guru of all the people and Your authority. You should properly enjoy the share given by Our father.
