Chapter 105: Rāma Consoles Bharata With Spiritual Instructions

रजन्यां सुप्रभातायां भ्रातरस्ते सुहृद्वृताः।
मन्दाकिन्यां हुतं जप्यं कृत्वा राममुपागमन्॥
rajanyāṁ suprabhātāyāṁ bhrātaras te suhṛd-vṛtāḥ
mandākinyāṁ hutaṁ japyaṁ kṛtvā rāmam upāgaman
rajanyām = when night; suprabhātāyām = turned into an auspicious dawn; bhrātaraḥ te = the brothers; suhṛt-vṛtāḥ = surrounded by Their well-wishers; mandākinyām = near Mandākinī; hutam = homa; japyam = performed their japa; kṛtvā = performed; rāmam = Rāma; upāgaman = and then approached.
When night turned into an auspicious dawn, the brothers, surrounded by Their well-wishers, performed homa near Mandākinī, performed their japa and then approached Rāma.
