Chapter 106: Bharata Persists in His Request
Text 2.106.17
कैकेयीं मां च तातं च सुहृदो बान्धवांश्च नः।
पौरजानपदान्सर्वांस्त्रातु सर्वमिदं भवान्॥
kaikeyīṁ māṁ ca tātaṁ ca suhṛdo bāndhavāṁś ca naḥ
paura-jānapadān sarvāṁs trātu sarvam idaṁ bhavān
kaikeyīm = Kaikeyī; mām ca = Me; tātam ca = father; suhṛdaḥ = well-wishers; bāndhavān = relatives; ca = and; naḥ = Our; paura-jānapadān = the residents of the city and the countryside; sarvān = all; trātu = save; sarvam idam bhavān = [please approve] everything I told You.
Save Kaikeyī, Me, Our father, well-wishers, relatives and all the residents of the city and the countryside. [Please approve] everything I told You.1
