Chapter 106: Bharata Persists in His Request
Text 2.106.32
अथैतत्पृष्ठतः कृत्वा वनमेव भवानितः।
मिष्यति गमिष्यामि भवता सार्धमप्यहम्॥
athaitat pṛṣṭhataḥ kṛtvā vanam eva bhavān itaḥ
gamiṣyati gamiṣyāmi bhavatā sārdham apy aham
atha = or else; etat = this request of Mine; pṛṣṭhataḥ kṛtvā = disregard; vanam eva = to the forest; bhavān = if You; itaḥ = from Our kingdom; gamiṣyati = and go away; gamiṣyāmi = will go to the forest; bhavatā sārdham = with You; api = also; aham = I.
Or else, if You disregard this request of Mine and go away from Our kingdom to the forest, I will also go to the forest with You.
