धर्मे रताः सत्पुरुषैः समेतास्तेजस्विनो दानगुणप्रधानाः।
अहिंसका वीतमलाश्च लोके भवन्ति पूज्या मुनयः प्रधानाः॥
dharme ratāḥ sat-puruṣaiḥ sametās
tejasvino dāna-guṇa-pradhānāḥ
ahiṁsakā vīta-malāś ca loke
bhavanti pūjyā munayaḥ pradhānāḥ
dharme = in dharma; ratāḥ = those who are engaged; sat-puruṣaiḥ sametāḥ = with saintly persons; tejasvinaḥ = who are powerful; dāna-guṇa-pradhānāḥ = whose primary characteristic is liberality; ahiṁsakāḥ = who are nonviolent; vīta-malāḥ ca = who are devoid of any contamination in their character; loke = in the world; bhavanti = become; pūjyāḥ = worshipable; munayaḥ = saints; pradhānāḥ = as chief.
Those who are engaged in dharma with saintly persons, who are powerful, whose primary characteristic is liberality, who are nonviolent, who are devoid of any contamination in their character become worshipable in the world as chief saints.
