Chapter 111: Rāma Agrees to Accept the Throne After Returning to Ayodhyā

एषोऽपि हि महाभागः पितुर्वचसि तिष्ठति।
अत एव न शक्ताः स्मो व्यावर्तयितुमञ्जसा॥
eṣo ’pi hi mahā-bhāgaḥ pitur vacasi tiṣṭhati
ata eva na śaktāḥ smo vyāvartayitum añjasā
eṣaḥ api hi = this; mahā-bhāgaḥ = greatly opulent soul; pituḥ = of His father; vacasi = in the instructions; tiṣṭhati = is fixed; ataḥ eva = so; na śaktāḥ smaḥ = we can’t; vyāvartayitum = make Him return; añjasā = quickly.
“This greatly opulent soul is fixed in the instruction of His father. So we can’t make Him return quickly.”
