Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 113: Bharata Returns to Ayodhyā
Text 2.113.3

मन्दाकिनीं नदीं रम्यां प्राङ्मुखास्ते ययुस्तदा।
प्रदक्षिणं च कुर्वाणाश्चित्रकूटं महागिरिम्॥

mandākinīṁ nadīṁ ramyāṁ prāṅ-mukhās te yayus tadā
pradakṣiṇaṁ ca kurvāṇāś citrakūṭaṁ mahā-girim

mandākinīm = Mandākinī; nadīm = river; ramyām = the pleasant; prāk-mukhāḥ = towards the east; te = they; yayuḥ tadā = proceeded; pradakṣiṇam ca kurvāṇāḥ = circumambulating; citrakūṭam = Citrakūṭa; mahā-girim = the great mountain.

Circumambulating the pleasant river Mandākinī and the great mountain Citrakūṭa, they proceeded towards the east.

The river Mandākinī was pleasant because of Sītā-Rāma’s water pastimes and so on. Citrakūṭa was a greatly powerful mountain because Rāma resided there.
