Chapter 115: Bharata Goes to Nandigrāma
Text 2.115.7
मन्त्रिणां वचनं श्रुत्वा यथाभिलषितं प्रियम्।
अब्रवीत्सारथिं वाक्यं रथो मे युज्यतामिति॥
mantriṇāṁ vacanaṁ śrutvā yathābhilaṣitaṁ priyam
abravīt sārathiṁ vākyaṁ ratho me yujyatām iti
mantriṇām = of His ministers; vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; yathā-abhilaṣitam = that were in line with His desires; priyam = the pleasing; abravīt = He told; sārathim = His charioteer; vākyam1 rathaḥ me yujyatām iti = get My chariot ready.
Upon hearing the pleasing words of His ministers that were in line with His desires, He told His charioteer, “Get My chariot ready.”
