Chapter 115: Bharata Goes to Nandigrāma
Text 2.115.10
अग्रतो गुरवस्तत्र वसिष्ठप्रमुखा द्विजाः।
प्रययुः प्राङ्मुखाः सर्वे नन्दिग्रामो यतोऽभवत्॥
agrato guravas tatra vasiṣṭha-pramukhā dvijāḥ
prayayuḥ prāṅ-mukhāḥ sarve nandigrāmo yato ’bhavat
agrataḥ = ahead; guravaḥ = the gurus; tatra = there; vasiṣṭha-pramukhāḥ = headed by Vasiṣṭha; dvijāḥ = and the twice-born; prayayuḥ = departed; prāk-mukhāḥ = towards the east; sarve = all; nandigrāmaḥ = Nandigrāma; yataḥ = where; abhavat = was.
The gurus headed by Vasiṣṭha and all the twice-born there went ahead towards the east where Nandigrāma was.
