Chapter 115: Bharata Goes to Nandigrāma
Text 2.115.11
बलं च तदनाहूतं गजाश्वरथसंकुलम्।
प्रययौ भरते याते सर्वे च पुरवासिनः॥
balaṁ ca tad-anāhūtaṁ gajāśva-ratha-saṅkulam
prayayau bharate yāte sarve ca puravāsinaḥ
balam ca = His army; tat-anāhūtam = [though] Bharata did not call for them; gaja-aśva-ratha-saṅkulam = with elephants, horses and chariots; prayayau = departed; bharate yāte = when He departed; sarve = all; ca = as well as; puravāsinaḥ = the residents of Ayodhyā.
[Though] Bharata did not call for them, His army with elephants, horses and chariots as well as all the residents of Ayodhyā departed when He departed.
