Chapter 116: The Sages Depart from Citrakūṭa

प्रमादाच्चरितं कच्चित्किंचिन्नावरजस्य मे।
लक्ष्मणस्यर्षिभिर्दृष्टं नानुरूपमिवात्मनः॥
pramādāc caritaṁ kaccit kiñcin nāvarajasya me
lakṣmaṇasya rṣibhir dṛṣṭaṁ nānurūpam ivātmanaḥ
pramādāt = inattentive; caritam = activity; kaccit = I hope that; kiñcit = any; na = not; avarajasya = of younger brother; me = My; lakṣmaṇasya = Lakṣmaṇa; rṣibhiḥ = the sages; dṛṣṭam = have seen; na = not; anurūpam iva = that does appear to be appropriate; ātmanaḥ = to Him.
I hope that the sages have not seen any inattentive activity of My younger brother Lakṣmaṇa that does not appear to be appropriate to Him.
