Chapter 116: The Sages Depart from Citrakūṭa
Text 2.116.16
तेषुतेष्वाश्रमस्थानेष्वबुद्धमवलीय च।
रमन्ते तापसांस्तत्र नाशयन्तोऽल्पचेतसः॥
teṣu teṣv āśrama-sthāneṣv abuddham avalīya ca
ramante tāpasāṁs tatra nāśayanto ’lpa-cetasaḥ
teṣu teṣu āśrama-sthāneṣu = in those hermitages; abuddham = secretively; avalīya = hide; ca = and; ramante = enjoy; tāpasān = the ascetics; tatra = there; nāśayantaḥ = destroying; alpa-cetasaḥ = those rākṣasas of petty intelligence.
Those rākṣasas of petty intelligence secretively hide in those hermitages and enjoy destroying the ascetics there.
