Chapter 117: Anasūyā Instructs Sītā About Strī-dharma

इह मे भरतो दृष्टो मातरश्च सनागराः।
सा च मे स्मृतिरन्वेति तान्नित्यमनुशोचतः॥
iha me bharato dṛṣṭo mātaraś ca sanāgarāḥ
sā ca me smṛtir anveti tān nityam anuśocataḥ
iha = here; me = My; bharataḥ = Bharata; dṛṣṭaḥ = of having seen; mātaraḥ = mothers; ca = and; sanāgarāḥ = the citizens; sā ca1 me = My; smṛtiḥ = memory; anveti = follows [Me]; tān = about them; nityam anuśocataḥ = while I constantly worry.
My memory of having seen Bharata, My mothers and the citizens here follows [Me] while I constantly worry about them.
