तां तु सीता महाभागामनसूयां पतिव्रताम्।
अभ्यवादयदव्यग्रा स्वनाम समुदाहरत्॥
tāṁ tu sītā mahā-bhāgām anasūyāṁ pati-vratām
abhyavādayad avyagrā sva-nāma samudāharat
tām tu1 sītā = Sītā; mahā-bhāgām = who was greatly fortunate; anasūyām = unto Anasūyā; pati-vratām = and chaste to her husband; abhyavādayat = offered her respectful obeisances; avyagrā = attentively; sva-nāma = her own name; samudāharat = uterring.
Uttering her own name, Sītā attentively offered her respectful obeisances unto Anasūyā who was greatly fortunate and chaste to her husband.1

1 “Uttering her name” indicates that Sītā uttered her own name, not Anasūyā’s name. It is highly disrespectful in Vedic culture to address a worshipable superior by name. Usually, they are called by some title. If they are related, they are addressed in terms of their relationship. For instance, an aunt is simply called “Aunt” and so on.
