Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā
Text 2.118.38
तस्य बुद्धिरियं जाता चिन्तयानस्य संततम्।
स्वयंवरं तनूजायाः करिष्यामीति धीमतः॥
tasya buddhir iyaṁ jātā cintayānasya santatam
svayaṁvaraṁ tanūjāyāḥ kariṣyāmīti dhīmataḥ
tasya = king; buddhiḥ = idea; iyam = this; jātā = got; cintayānasya = while thinking about this; santatam = constantly; svayaṁvaram = a svayaṁvara; tanūjāyāḥ = for my daughter; kariṣyāmi iti = I will arrange; dhīmataḥ = the intelligent.
While constantly thinking about this, the intelligent king got this idea, “I will arrange a svayaṁvara for my daughter.”
